An Afternoon in New York City

One time I went to New York City and all I got was a lousy camera battery that decided to run outta juice about 1/8th of the way into my trip. It did last long enough to capture a blissful hour or so on The High Line.
My travel companions: ice cream and an epic family tale (highly recommended.)
There are tons of rules on The High Line.
But it's pretty much totally worth it.

Such greenery! I kind of thought that this blog would be a typical fuzzy-photo document of my new purchases and home decor choices, but as I upload post after post full of pictures of flowers and plants, I'm realizing this should basically be called The Fake Botany Club. Let's start a real one, though, okay?
There are lots of snacks available on The High Line, including iced coffee that is basically as tasty chocolate ice cream. TRUST!
We also went to Chelsea Market, to taste free wine and look at sculpted cupcakes and eat ice cream.
The rest of the weekend was a flurry of booze (ahem, Pimm's Cups, to-go margaritas, frozen adult root beers, etc.) and zines and friends and fun. Lesson: make sure your camera is like, for real charging before you go, you goose.
